It’s not an exaggeration to say that you can’t ran an efficient warehouse without efficient receiving and shipping operations. Afterall, take too long to unload or load a truck and you’re going to get fined by your trucking partners; inventory stuck on the receiving dock is in the facility, but not available to promise; and it doesn’t matter how fast you can fill an order if you can’t load your trucks.
