St. Onge Company is proud to congratulate our very own B.D. Executive Fred W. Crans on his upcoming induction into the Bellwether League’s Class of 2020. To those not in the know, the Bellwether League recognizes individuals who have shown exemplary commitment and contribution to the Healthcare Supply Chain community over many years of service to the industry. Those that have been lucky enough to meet Fred at a conference or at a healthcare site have come to appreciate his unique sense of style along with his caring warmth and vibrant energy. We are honored to have him on our team.
Fred has over forty years of experience in the healthcare industry. His extensive experience includes having led several Supply Chain operations at small, medium-sized and large Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs). He has also served as a healthcare supply chain operations consultant for several major consultancies, including B-D Healthcare Consulting, Capgemini/Accenture and UHC. He has worked and managed large non-salary expense reduction projects at both private, not for profit hospitals and academic medical centers. Mr. Crans has also served as a Business Development leader for The ECRI Institute and MD Buyline. He has published more than fifty articles in industry journals, spoken at many large conferences and is considered a healthcare supply chain thought leader.
